Turns out the geerqeer market is flooded with all sorts of nifty gadgets that help scrape the carbon off the inside of the bolt carrier and the tail of the bolt. They're either basically blunted screwdrivers or mutilated tuning forks. Some are both tools in one. If they actually work, I'd gladly buy one and keep it in my kit. I'm not big on spending a zillion dollars on flashy stuff, but practical stuff like maintenance tools really turn me on. What do you guys think?

I've seen a few others as well. The appeal of the above items is that they're small enough to stow in my junk pouch.

Are these things worth anything for field cleaning or just blowing sunshine up my ass? I tire of dental picks and actual screwdrivers.
Experiences? Thoughts?
