Women's Workout Question
Someone PM'd me and asked me to post this anonymously in the LL:
When I go out jogging hard or to the gym and really kick it up to high gear on an elliptical cross-trainer (High incline, high resistance), I go for a while and then start feeling a tearing sort of pain through my lower abdominal cavity. At first I thought it was cramps (not the menstrual kind, the ate-too-soon-before-swimming kind) and just kept going. I figured I could power through and it'd wear off. No luck really, although I either get used to it after about 5 minutes or it dulls down a little. I then considered it was maybe an external thing: having lost a good bit of weight I thought maybe my abdominals were hurting because the last bit of loose skin and fat was bouncing hard. Sort of like how having big tits is a REAL serious discomfort and hindrance to jogging if I don't strap 'em down well enough.
I've always been the "If it's not killing me it's making me stronger" type, so despite feeling pain I put in a full half hour of serious cardio the last couple of times I went to the gym. Same tearing feeling, only later in the evening when I go to the bathroom, there's somewhat clotted blood coming out of my hoo-ha. It's not *quite* like a menstrual flow, but I've heard sometimes "spotting" is a slightly different texture. The first time I nervously wrote it off. This is the second time it's happened, and there's rather more. I'm also wondering if I didn't notice previous times when this may have happened if it was concurrent or too close to when my actual period was going on to garner notice. Now? I'm holding of a bit of a panicky nervous breakdown. Thoughts? Can you come up with any more options than WebMD's cancer, cancer, cancer, or GET THAT LIGHTBULB OUTTA THERE?
