The franchise should of been handed off to another company. ABC just doesn't make good television anymore (but did it ever?)
I got pretty irritated with the first episode when it was obvious that the aliens were up to no good (to us, the viewers), and them giving the world "socialized medicine" was accompanied by doomsday music. Because... socialized medicine is evil, and this is a good way to make that point? wtf.
