apostacy isnt rejecting the islamic faith. apostacy is when you are a muslim, and you then reject the islamic faith. apostasy carried the death sentence under shariah law. how anyone can prove it is beyond me, buts a whole different issue.
am i surprised? not in the slighetest.
iran is well known for its persecution of anyone non shiite. the zoraostrians fled, the sunnis are under threat and the secularist have all fled. many are here in this country for this reason.
