Hide the remote when they are not looking.
Start to get nervous ticks and say to them that you have to play Charades...now... or else.
Take a hot steamy shower at this moment, and when you finish up, jump on the couch unexpectedly, not properly toweled-off, and sans-underwear.
Put on some pants, pack in about 13 dollars and a few quarters, and head out to the local sports bar; it's nigh high-time for the NFL!
