Never thought I would actually contribute to this kind of thread, but I do have some noob-type questions that would take more probing than I have time.
0) Do all of the UK/European countries have their own leagues that play each other as well in some kind of Continental/World Cup thing?
1) Do they all the same standarised rules?
2) How long are these seasons?
enough questions, just curious. For that matter I knew almost nothing about American football until I watched shipmates playing a NFL video game on the Aircraft Carrier and figured it out from that.
