I have an MP40 and I really like it. It's incredibly comfortable plus there's the fact that it is a SW (used to have a 5906). The biggest downside to the MP series is the trigger. It takes a while to get broken in, usually under 1000 rounds though. Dan Burwell seems to be the trigger master for the MP's and I've read many recommendations of his trigger jobs. Since the price of ammo has gone up so much I wish I had gotten the 9 instead of the 40, but going up to a 40 was the point of buying the gun.
