No girl I have dated has owned any sex toys as far as Im aware... I think its pretty rare.
Maybe in the context of this site - which used to have a strong porno element, and the sex talk forum within this site - maybe the majority of people who naturally gravitate to something like this are into things that are a bit more "kinky" than the average person.
