Hello neighbor
Columns isn't too terribly far from me. I'm also in Cobb (Acworth / Kennesaw area.) And I learned about the missing guy yesterday from the news. Very sad.
Glad you're safe too. This'll deffo go down in history.

Hey! It's nice to find someone kinda close by on here
Those were some crazy pics you posted. It has always been by greatest fear to die by drowning, especially in nasty murky water like the Chattahoochee. I can't imagine what would possess someone to actually get in that water. Well, ok, to save someone's life, I can understand. I haven't heard anything more about the missing guy. Makes me so sad. And that man who was holding his 2yr old while hanging onto a tree branch and lost grip on him and he died. That about broke my heart. I'm not exactly sure how you live with that.
Pretty much most of our water has dried up now, although it did rain a bit today. Have you heard if there are some still flooded out? I'm worried enough money isn't going to come to help those who didn't have flood insurance b/c they weren't technically in a flood plain.
