I just wanted to wander in here to say a couple of things.
- Fuck I hate PUGs that attract idiots who don't know the mechanics of the game. I just wasted 2 hours with a group that had a mage and a druid who didn't know how the fuck to control their threat. There was a death knight more than 5 levels above them that wasn't generating as much threat they were. So what happened? It felt like I was healing 3 tanks, except two of them weren't wearing metal armour and had half the health as a typical tank of their level. So then, of course, the group dies, falls apart, and one of them had the gall to call me the worst healer. Nice. So I told him he's the worst tank. "I'm not the tank." "Then stop fucking being one." Fuckwad.
- I think I'm going to let my membership lapse. I like the idea of mmo gaming, but I'm hitting tilt on WoW. The quality of my experience is diminishing (see point #1). I see there are a number of games coming down the pipeline. I'm thinking of trying a few out, and I don't want to spend more than $20 per month on gaming.
