My work schedule prevents me from seeing primetime for the nearly a decade and a half. I am a slight bit behind but I did indeed fall in love with Chuck and Pushing Daisies.
As the original poster, I couldn't believe another decent program cut short for offering intelligent, witty and thoughtful programming.
I didn't know about Life on Mars. I am a fan of the British Life on Mars, Eleventh Hour (another one the Americans remade) and Ashes to Ashes. I consider the British versions superior.
Overall, I do prefer British television.
One I didn't seem mentioned was Drive. Only four episodes and it disappears while this bundle of reality tv has made me practically ignore all network television.
