Do you believe every internal police investigation that turns up the conclusion that the cops did nothing wrong? The feds investigated themselves and concluded that the story they gave out was correct. Lots of the information that would really prove this is top secret, but we can go ahead and believe them.
Having someone as funny as Maddox make fun of people really shouldn't convince anybody, either...
