Drivers who feel like that have to back into a parking space, regardless of whether it's at home or in a parking lot, forcing whoever is behind them to wait and/or backup while they maneuver their car around in order to back into the spot.
I can see parking at home backwards, but out in public, especially with other parking lot traffic, it just seems excessive and obsessive to me.
