I searched this thread for a tune that I heard this afternoon. I couldn't find it, so here is the Manhattans' Kiss and Say Good'bye which is definitely sad. But sad in a different way than Terry Jack's Seasons in the Sun dirge:



I just love the soul in the choreography. It's not over the top 'look at how good I am' athleticism that currently graces our screens.
