I had a T61 for a while. While it seemed well made, both myself and the guy who used it before me found it quite flaky. We might've got a lemon, but it was a pain in the arse.
The thing only booted once in about 5 goes. The other four would just get to a black screen and hang, give a disk error, or spit random characters onto the screen then hang. Once it had booted it was quite good, but it was painful until that point. Also, the wireless network software was useless and the adapter would only connect wirelessly at random intervals. This may well be better now, but was a huge issue with mine.
