This has been bugging me for a long time.
Out of all the myriad of things we eat and drink and buy at the grovery store that is prepackaged alcoholic beverages seem to be the only thing without Nutritional Facts on either the individual containers (cans/bottles) or the boxes they come in. With a bit of research on google I found out how much would be in standard beer and shots of rum, whiskey and vodka here:
http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcom.../hg72_2002.pdf
on page 20
which is both less and more than I expected however I cannot find an explanation as to why there are no labels on the items.
My conspiracy side says its prob cuz the alcohol companies lobbied not to for some reason but still. any ideas?
