well the first round is out of the way.. no major surprises..
Hotspurs seem to be Liverpool's kryptonite..
Man city was unimpressive.. but so was United. United have much to improve on if they are to be title hopefuls.
the gooners looked the best out of all the teams but I suspect that will fade quickly as they get into beefier competition. they just don't have much in the way of powerful players.. they can have all the skill and finesse they like, but it will end up just as last year I think.
Chelscum.. eh, they looked vulnerable, but again it's far to early to really tell what's going to happen to any team during the season.
I was just pleasantly pleased to see Liverpool go down. Uninspired play to say the least.
