wow, I loved this. Would have been great to see it live.

This isn't a traditional form of dance, I would say it's more of an art performance centred around dance and bodily expression.

People tend to think of dance in its traditional form, but really dance is about moving your body, usually to rhythm and music, to express something, an emotion, a state of mind, or just bodily energy.

Dance is an art form too.

In this video, I really enjoyed the interaction between the projected images and the dancers, the way they flowed into each other, and sometimes became unseparable. There was something quite intimate about the contrasts of black and white, or colours and black, and the rapid, flowing movements of the dancers that appealed to me greatly. In a way, it seemed like I was watching a dream the way it might evolve in someone else's mind.

A lot of modern dance leaves me cold but this, to me, had a lot of thought put into it. Thanks for sharing Jetée.

We are ever unapparent. What we are
Cannot be transfused into word or book.
Our soul from us is infinitely far.
However much we give our thoughts the will
To be our soul and gesture it abroad,
Our hearts are incommunicable still.
In what we show ourselves we are ignored.
The abyss from soul to soul cannot be bridged
By any skill of thought or trick of seeming.
Unto our very selves we are abridged
When we would utter to our thought our being.
We are our dreams of ourselves, souls by gleams,
And each to each other dreams of others' dreams.
