District 9 - 9, only because I fear a sequel
I was pleased with the depth that was taken with the characters of the aliens. That was impressive. Initially, what I could only see as aliens became, further into the film, individuals with unique charateristics and personalities. The fact that they were aliens came second to who they were and what they were doing. Highly successful.
