Also, it reminds me of the "Create a Playlist to Introduce Someone to the Genre" thread, but this one seems abit more lax and fun with the rules.

I have been creating a secret playlist for a close friend of mine for nearing four months now.

Creating an album of songs that tell a distinct story is so difficult, especially when trying to span generations and musical genres. I might just pm the playlist when finished to a select few members here to see if they appreciate the double disc "mix-tape", or have suggestions on what to shift/omit or include to the feel of the album.
It still needs a title and a box cover.

For now, I didn't create this playlist, but I did recently find it... and it features the original song stylings of today's more popular tracks that sampled the music in question.
Let me find the url address...

I found the thread that this reminds me of, by Cynthetiq: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/tilted-...one-genre.html

And the playlist I wanted to share with you guys: The Raw Ingredients (free mix download)

Enjoy.
