I think they also need one writer instead of twelve. Each episode is written by a different writer so there is no basic flow to the series. Season two looks hopefull judgeing from the trailor, but all trailors look awesome. Hopefully they listened to some of the book fans' rants and even though some material will have to be altered atleast keep an over all story arch, and make the show less corny.
