Several of my classmates in my PhD program are my friends on facebook.
My nickname IRL and on here is the same. I like my privacy, so I won't link to TFP.
Regardless of porn or whatever, I choose the face I present to my school in regards to politics, religion, personal stuff, etc. I choose differently with friends and family. To a certain degree. I just like having a "safe place" where some of my outside friends and my family members can't find me. And where I can talk shit about them if I need to.
I<3 the TFP and want to choose who finds it through me. Because, believe me, some of the people I know that would look into the site would do nothing but cause trouble or get banned.
