I'm not going to get into which is harder, mainly because I've never played baseball to any standard, however I do have to take issue with this. Yes, pretty much anyone can KICK a ball, but how many can kick it huge distances with acuracy? How many can kick one, on the turn and put it past a 'keeper? How many can trap a ball kicked to them at pace? How many can run with a ball at their feet at almost full sprint, and beat several players?
And lets forget about the ball for a minute and think about the other skills involved - positioning, timing of runs, defending etc.
There's a hell of a lot more to soccer than 'kicking a ball'.
