The Boy in the Striped Pajamas: 8/10
It started relatively slow, but both of the main boys in this movie seem to be fine actors for such a young age. I really liked the fact that he was having a tough time "getting" what his tutor was teaching him and his sister, and that she was so into it. The ending was... tough.
Man Bites Dog: 10/10
It isn't new at all, but I just saw it for the first time. I can't say enough good things about this movie. I loved it all the way through, from the main character's racism to his calm demeanor while doing the most heinous things. It isn't exactly what I expected it to be, but I'm not sure what I was expecting either. One way or another, this has become one of my favorites.
