Eyestrain/dizziness with reading
Is anyone else like this? When I was in my teens I used to read 8-10 hours straight, only taking food and bathroom breaks. Now I can barely read 15-20 mins straight without having to take a break either from dizziness or eyestrain. And it builds up. So I can only read for a few hours each day total. Which sucks cause I seriously love to read. BTW I'm only 24, so it's not like my vision is failing from age.
Nausea and dizziness I know can be related to vision problems like the wrong prescription glasses. I've had my eyes checked though and tried both reading glasses and normal glasses. Neither has really helped. But my first prescription was way off, so it's possible I still haven't gotten the appropriate glasses.
I also get eyestrain from driving or watching TV for too long without breaks. Somewhere in the range of 2-4 hours straight. Though I think that's fairly normal.
I've heard about some vision exercises and "vision therapy" but it sounds like a bunch of bull. Anyone have any experiences with these?
