I only have this to offer...
We have the old style full panty (I don't know the proper name) crotchless harness. By full panty I mean is it has a generous amount of leather on the front, & the leather back is a cross between full coverage & a Rio back. This design allows the harness to pulled very tightly against the body, which greatly reduces any play or slippage, which in turn allows for prolonged vigorous thrusting without rubbing any raw spots.
From what I've seen on the net (no personal experience), the g-string/thong-style harnesses don't allow the harness to be pulled tight/secure enough to allow for serious thrusting. I would guess that they would be very uncomfortable, and possibly rub raw spots, if they were tightened enough to hold the dildo firmly in place, but perhaps some of the FDP ladies can confirm or refute that thought.
