8 hour fish tank day. Changed water on a 40, a 33, two 25s, three 20s, eight 10s, a fie and a half, and a 2 and a half. Separated out 12 albino bronze cories, 17 or so Gold Fundulopanchax gardneri, and 5 Hererandria formosa fry to get my breeder's award points at the meeting tomorrow. Also switched my Aphyosemion striatum and Fundulopanchax gardneri breeders in the hopes that the Aphys will breed in the tank the gardneris were breeding in. Culled my guppies - kept the best 6 males and 12 females, separated out the 12 remaining males and 20 best remaining females, and tossed 30 or so into my bushfish tank for snackies. What else? Redistributed the larges fry from my stage 1 cory and whiptail growout to other tanks. Set aside a pair of mature male Heterandria formosa for a friend, 12 good sized whiptails for auction, and 4 sterba's cories for auction. Also got 3 fry and 30 eggs out of the sterba tank and put them in the stage 1 growout with some malachite green to inhibit fungus. Thinned the salvinia and watersprite where it was getting out of hand, and started making a list of fish to enter in the fish show tomorrow: Ctenopoma acutirostre, Trichogaster trichopterus (I have a gorgeous female), Yoyo Loach (Botia almorhae), Diamond Tetra (Moenkhausia pitteri), Siamese Algae Eater, Rineoloricaria eignemanni (Whiptailed catfish), My male Festivum, my male Fundulopanchax, and one of my Bandit cories. Going to be a bit tricky to get them all there. Also, finished reading "An Empire Unacquainted with Defeat"
