networking issue

Hi, here's how this works:
i have a cable modem and a wifi router connected ot the cable modem and computer 1.

in another room, i have a wifi router with dd-wrt that is acting as a repeater so my laptop can connect more easily in the back of the house.

both computers are running windows xp.

computer 1 and that router have 192.168.1.xxxx ip addresses

computer 2 and ddwrt router have 192.168.2.xxx ip addresses bc that's how the instructions i've found set it up. Now, if i connect the laptop to the first router, i can access computer 1's shared folders, but if i connect to the 2nd router, then i can't access comp 1's shared folders.

is there any way i can fix that? right now, i have the folders mapped ot a network folder, but for some reason, the 2nd router won't let me acccess the first router's workgroup.

any idea how to fix?
