Tomate du Saltambique (I'm probably spelling this wrong, my French is basically nonexistent) is said to be a seedless beefsteak tomato, stewed for several hours in in crème de caramel, stuffed with passion fruit, kiwi, and hazelnuts, served on a pomegranate reduction.
...only I can't seem to find a recipe.
Is anyone familiar with this dessert beyond the obvious TV reference? Has anyone ever tried this or even made this? Is it even real?
