Slow enough for my family to say their goodbyes and prepare their
heads and hearts. A time for some pre-grieving could be less shattering
than a sudden blink out.
And then if it drags on too long, I have given my family
members the go ahead, to end any ridiculously protracted agony. Mine & theirs.
