yea that's pretty much it, context is king.
I'm not running around trying to state/imply that gay people don't deserve rights or equality.
I just think that trying to change the usage of a word that you never even had claim to to begin with (gay) is a pointless waste of time in the grand scheme of things.
that word doesn't "belong" to anyone, so laying down "the law" in telling people what they can and cannot say is futile. Well if not futile, then presumptuous. Since it appears some people buy in to this.
