I carry my leather jacket with me even if it's extremely hot outside, just because I love pockets. Especially when you can't see a bulge, or won't stick out in a weird way.
At any point I'll have:
Wallet in my front right pants pocket
Cell in the front left pants pocket
plastic bags for dog poop in my left back pants pocket.
Passport on my inside-rightside chest pocket in the jacket, sometimes a toothbrush.
Cigarettes or tobacco/rolling papers in my left side-inside chest pocket in jacket
My trusty MP3 player in my left jacket pocket. Headphones around my neck.
Lighter in my right jacket pocket.
