Spray bottles are excellent for non-violent feline behavioural correction. If I were going to recommend a solution, this would be it.
It doesn't harm the kitty, but the kitty definitely won't like it. Give it a couple of times to associate unwanted behaviour with unpleasant consequences, and the unwanted behaviour stops.
