Wow, I wasn't expecting a reply at all; something about my recent history in created threads. Well, I'm glad I'm not alone in having an affinity for the legendary race that defined eras and made champions.
I'm just sorry for those that had to sit through some of the inordinate and arbitrary commentary provided by Speed. It was nice at the start, but cutting to another talking head every 20 minutes during the entire broadcast was inexcusable. If you had and/or have the chance to follow it online, simulcasting is truly the best way to enjoy the action short of actually making the trip and watching in person live. For those that are interested, the original wikipedia link in my OP has been updated with the results of each class winner, and the overall Le Mans Prototype (Prix) champion of this past weekend. There was even a spec-controversy prior to the race that I was not aware of, and they made veiled attempts to inform the public about it through the broadcast, but not really directly.
