I'm single. I see no reason to be bitter about it. Right now that's the way I prefer it. Some day that may change, right now though I'm happy to get up each day and decide what I want to do or what to (or not to) spend money on. That's not saying if the right woman appeared in my life tomorrow I'd pass. But she'd have to be a damn near prefect match.
I do wish several of my friends would stop with the "Have you met _________? She's really nice and really single." Why do other people assume you need an SO if you're single? Why do they feel it's their mission in life to find you someone? I will never understand people who do this.
