I've not found any references to where I am that use the word "llha.." or any facsimile of that word, or even the word "island". I would say I'm far enough off-shore ...more than 100 miles...that it would not normally be considered "mouth of the Amazon" ...unless you mean the huge, dramatic plume of the Amazon River that extends thousands of kilometers into the Atlantic Ocean, then I'm about in there
PS: I love the Amazon so while I was meandering about I found this cool pic that helps understand why the Amazon flow is so large and powerful
