Sounds like a multi-faceted dillema.
Are you critical of your SO's cooking, or does she simply feel inadequate cooking for you?
Next time there's a big family meal, ask who's cooking. When they admit they assume you would want to, tell them you'd like a break and that you wouldn't mind helping someone else plan a menu.
As for not wanting to eat what you cook - I get that myself. I'll usually set a plate aside to reheat when I'm really hungry.
