Fox (and its parent companies) owns the entire production line of Dollhouse so they get whatever money it does make. WB owns part of the production line on Terminator, so Fox isn't taking the whole cut. ALSO, TSCC had two seasons to develop story and audience and (for a lot of reasons) failed to do so. ALSO, Dollhouse presented Fox with a plan for making equal quality episodes for less money and TSCC looked like it was only going to get more expensive. Ah well, I still weep for its loss.
