He certainly looks more worried i nrecent times that I've ever seem him before.
Bendtner (Inter), Fabregas (Real & Milan), Clichy (Milan), Sagna (Juve), and Toure (Citeh) have all been linked with moves in the last two weeks. Wenger can't afford to lose any more players, or else the model fails.
My speculation:
I think Wenger will buy Babel for 10 Million. He'll also buy that Everton kid he likes for 8 Million. He's likely to sell Senderos to Hertha or Fiorentina to raise the money for the latter.
Should there REALLY be 30 million available like the BOD claims, he'll try to get a CB for 8 million or less - maybe Upson or Richards. Upson is unlikely, as Wenger has stated before that he doesn't like to bring back players that left Arsenal, but then Upson came from the youth academy, which might be mitigating circumstances.
If Adebayor goes, I wouldn't be surprised if Wenger tries again to get Gokhan Inler. His price is 20 Million. He's known to pursue the same targets over the long term.
Wenger seems to be linked to just about every young player who has national colours. Agents speculating with market value, no doubt. I just hope he brings in 2 experienced players.
