I am nocturnal by nature and my body goes on a longer than 24 hour cycle if I'm forced to wake up in the morning for whatever dreadful reason (and they are all dreadful). Left to my own devices (school vacation or unemployment) I stay up for about 18 hours and sleep for 10. At some point I reach a rough equilibrium where I go to bed shortly after sunrise and wake up shortly after sunset. Then school starts again or I get a job and a hell of a time every morning. It takes at least an hour or a stimulant to get me out of bed.

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." --Abraham Lincoln
