Really the best refereeing is when a ref admits he is wrong and reverses a decision.
Fletcher did dive in from behind and it was a risky challenge, but he won the ball and it shouldnt have been given.
I also take the view (which very few people share) that any professional foul in the area should NOT ever result in a red card. The red is supposed to be given if a clear goalscording opportunity is denied by a deliberate foul. To me a penalty is a clear goal scoring opportunity... I have never understood the ref given a pen and a red.
