How to find my passion by ataralas
"I will always be a storyteller."
How I did it: Ever since I was small, I loved to tell stories. When I learned to talk, I would do puppet shows. No one was ever really sure what they were about, actually, but I would entertain myself for hours. In kindergarten I would write and draw stories. Of course, my handwriting was so bad no one could tell what I was saying. In third grade I created vivid imaginary worlds with my sister, where Aslan and Laura Ingalls Wilder and Darth Vader existed side by side.
When I was in fifth grade, I remember deciding to become a writer. Even back then I remember the sense of-- portent?-- about it. I knew that this was going to be a decision that would affect the rest of my life. And I haven't changed my mind since then.
