Why would I want to go and pay for porn in which the sex is scripted and edited, dubbed with shitty music, and features cokeheads trying to maintain a hard-on while screwing 30=year-old "virgin teenagers" with tramp stamps, clit piercings, and fake tits? I have filmed myself having sex with my wife a few times. It has nothing to do with narcissism; I'm actually ashamed of my body and prefer not to look at it. But I get off on the thought of being watched, of being seen. When I was younger (and thinner) I was briefly into photography and trying to take tasteful, artistic nude photos of myself, but I found it immensely difficult because just knowing that a camera was pointed at my naked body gave me an instant boner. I am very much an exhibitionist, and it has nothing whatsoever to do with narcissism since I am not proud of the way I look.
As for this "damage" some people talk about, I really don't see it. Maybe if you are in politics or something, it may be of some concern, mostly due to the bible thumpers. Intelligent people ought to figure out that everybody has sex. It's just the American way I guess to pretend that we don't. And blackmail? That's ridiculous.
