I always find it funny that the people who take such principled stands also tend to be the ones with pot leaves in their avatars.
A company doesn't need probable cause to drug test you pre-hire. You're asking for something from them. A drug test is their condition (among others, like say, qualifications) to give it to you. There's no infringement on your civil liberties here. This is a straight-forward consequence of the choices you make.
And I'm not morally against drugs. I've done drugs, and I've enjoyed them. But to do so and then be all offended when it costs you something is just stupid.
