I tried it out but was afraid to get into it (i.e. fork over the money to buy it). I might just wait until the expansion is released this fall. They're supposed to be redoing the graphics and adding to the game's AI and diplomacy, all the while adding a multiplayer component.
Maybe I'll play the demo a bit more to really get a feel for it. I liked the combat gameplay on horseback; it had a cool feel to it...if not a bit of a learning curve. The momentum of the horse seems well done (especially compared to World of Warcraft's grossly unrealistic mount physics).
