I thought I would say no thanks, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought--maybe.
I recently had to do a project that involved taking a look at three generations of my family and charting their problems. If there was an alcoholism gene, and I could prevent my kids from getting it (I don't know that there is just one alcoholism gene, I think it's probably a polygenic trait), I would try.
I think that's about as far as I am willing to go.
