John Frieda Frizz Ease did NOT work for me either! BUT.. Biosilk works very well. Also the Victoria's secret Very Sexy Shine serum for hair works very nicely.
To give your curls a little more oomph try TIGI BedHead Curls Rock(blue cylindrical bottle $15) for crunchy curls.. for softer curls use TIGI BedHead Foxy Curls(purple round bottle $16).
BedHead products tend to smell like candy and sweets... so be aware of that before buying them. haha
