Legends of the Fall 7/10
I liked it a lot until the last 3rd after Spoiler: Anthony Hopkins has a stroke and starts growling and grunting and writing things on his chalk board. It was a shame to have his character turn out that way. Everyone knows he can do better than that and it felt like such a shame.
That said, there are some magnificent moments. Brad Pitt has a strong presence throughout even if he doesn't ever seem like he's putting any effort in. But Aiden Quinn and Hopkins (before the aforementioned) are the best. They have an exchange about half way through that's particularly riveting.
