I have considered lessons, but remain undecided. It partly depends on whether I can find a good instructor in my area.
And the intent of this thread more generally is to provide a resource for those looking to learn how to play piano, or to better their skills. Thus, any advice is ideally equally useful regardless of whether one takes paid lessons or not.
