For those of you who are interested, J.T. is from Samson, Alabama, the area where the killing of 10 people took place yesterday. I have driven through this part of Alabama every year while going to Florida and you would never ever think that something like this would happen there. It is the most calm and peaceful part of Alabama that I know. A few years ago my mother got stopped for speeding, and she couldn't find her drivers license. She pulled out a credit card and told the officer that was all she had. He let her go with a warning. That is how easy-going it is in this area. It is so shocking and so sad.
